Abbey of Pomposa
The Abbey of Pomposa is an ancient monastery complex located in the Po Valley, near the city of Ferrara. Founded in the 7th century, the abbey reached its peak between the 8th and 12th centuries, becoming an important center of culture, art, and spirituality during the medieval period.
